The Company has a total fleet of fourteen trawlers through a combination of fully owned and joint venture vessels

Six vessels have freezing facilities on board, whilst the remaining trawlers land fresh fish direct to the factory

Two reefer vessels, with a combined capacity of 250mt, operate as carrier vessels and supply our cold store in Liberia

At present the majority of the catch consists of demersal and benthic fish. Our expansion plans will see pelagic species being targeted

This year the fleet will be expanded by an additional seven trawlers, including two new purse seiners capable of catching and freezing 60mt/day and a pelagic trawler with capacity for 100mt/day

The port of Freetown is serviced by Maersk Line. Product can be delivered to clients across the world via existing West African shipping routes

The airfreight of fresh fish is an avenue open to us; however this is dependent upon destination

Improved airport facilities and increased cargo space should be coming on stream in the near future which will mean that Sierra Fishing will be able to provide a worldwide service
